Mountain Bike Tour

Begginers Option: South towns:

Valley Ride Bike Tours run for approximately 4 hours, leaving either at 9:00AM or 1:00PM. Tours leave from Antigua.

Escape Antigua for the day and tour the countryside by mountain bike. At the  west of Antigua - which was home to the 2nd Capital of Guatemala - Ciudad Vieja. The old city met a fateful doom in 1541 as a result of a terrible mudslide released from the crater of Agua Volcano. Explore the villages of Santiago Zamora and San Antonio Aguas Calientes, famous for their textiles and weavings.

Over 20 kms of flowing, rolling, blow your mind purpose built single-track bliss. Need I say more? The only of its kind here in Guatemala. We joined up with some friends of ours who own a mega swath of our resident Volcan de Agua and hand built as much trail as we could. The top of the trail network is at 8,500 ft. which you will reach by 4x4 shuttle. Once you hit the trailhead you are sure to have fun coming back down the mountain on this great trail. There are plenty of switchbacks, lush forest, and awesome views!

The El Zur mountain bike park is a private reserve with over 25 kms. of flowing, rolling, blow your mind purpose built single-track bliss. Need we say more?

We joined up with some friends of ours who own a mega swath of our resident Volcan de Agua and hand built as much trail as we could. The top of the trail network is at 2,500 mts (8,500 ft.), which we will climb via 4×4 shuttle and the drop in to the beginning of an awesome ride!
