Uaxactún is a pre-Columbian archaeological site of the Mayan culture, located about 25 km north of Tikal and 56km [56miles] from Flores or from Mundo Maya Airport, in the municipality of Flores, in the department of Petén, Guatemala. It's name in ancient times was Siaan Ka'an, which means Born from Heaven.

  • 7:30 am. Departure from your hotel on the Island of Flores or from the Mundo Maya Airport in Santa Elena (doesn’t include flight from prior destination, that is on you or contact us for a quote). Land transport to Uaxactún - approximately 2 hours).

  • 9:30 am. Arrival to Uaxactún and visit of the archaeological site.

  • 1:00 pm. Departure from Uaxactun to Santa Elena, arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m..
