The site is located in the Petexbatún region, which gives beauty to its landscapes due to its numerous water sources.

704 structures and walls have been registered, reaching a length of 4,506 meters. These seem to have had the purpose of defense against wars between the Maya. 14 monuments were also found, including stelae and altars.

• 8:00 a.m. Departure from your hotel on Flores Island or Mundo Maya Airport in Santa Elena Mundo Maya Airport, Santa Elena Petén.

• 9:00 a.m, Arrival to Sayaxché and start of the boat tour through the Petexbatún stream and Aguateca stream, upon arrival, you will have the walk from the bank of the stream to the archaeological site. Visit of the site, including: trails and Mirador Del Peñón, walk through the Geological Fault, entrance to the squares to observe beautiful structures and stelae.

• 3:30 p.m. Departure from Sayaxché, takes an hour to be back at your hotel or to the Airport.
