Tikal National Park

Petén is considered by many archeologists as the birthplace of the Mayan civilization. Some of the oldest Mayan sites can be found there. Enjoy a one day trip to Tikal National Park.

  • Early in the morning: transfer from your hotel to the International Airport

  • 4:30 a.m. Check in at Airline Counter at the International Airport

  • 6:30 a.m. Flight from Guatemala to Flores

  • 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. Arrival at Mundo Maya Airport, Welcome you by our staff, who will organize the departure in vehicle to the National Park.

  • 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Walking tour with expert guide

  • 1:00 2:30 p.m. Lunch at the Restaurant in the Park (drinks on your own)

  • 3:00 p.m. Driving back to the Mundo Maya Airport in Santa Elena

  • 4:00 p.m. Check in at airline counter

  • 6:30 p.m. Departure from Mundo Maya International Airport in Santa Elena to Guatemala City International Airport La Aurora.

  • 7:30 p.m. Arrival to Guatemala and transportation back to your hotel.

 

Note: We include shuttle transportation

  • 3:30 a.m. from hotels located in Antigua Guatemala

  • 4:30 a.m. from hotel located in zone 9, 10, and 13 in Guatemala City

How to dress?

The weather is hot; please bring comfortable breathable clothes and walking shoes, mosquito repellent highly recommended, hat, sunglasses, and your camera.

Important:

  • Bring your original identification: passport for foreigners and DPI for nationals,

  • There are no ramps or special services for people with special abilities.

  • Not recommended for people with respiratory problems, back or neck injuries or heart problems.
